Social Responsibility
Haywood Securities is committed to growing in a socially responsible manner. We believe our first duty is to operate with integrity at all times so we can ensure the present and future well-being of our stakeholders. The Haywood team strives to have a positive economic, environment and social impact, providing responsible leadership in the marketplace, the workplace and in the communities where we live and work.
Haywood supports various community organizations and initiatives in each of the cities in which it does business. The Firm promotes employee involvement and to this end matches employee sponsorship and donation commitments. In 2008 Haywood and its employees provided over $850,000 to various national and regional initiatives that spanned Arts & Culture, Health & Wellness and Sports & Recreation. Despite the current economic environment, Haywood continues to take its corporate giving responsibilities seriously and in 2009, the Firm and its staff have contributed more than $550,000 to similar causes.
